About our School
Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Kendra is run under the Divine guidance benign blessings and loving care of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, the greatest living spiritual presence today and is located in Sathya Sai Grama, near Muddenahalli, the birthplace of Dr. M. Vishweshwaraiah of hallowed memory, in the midst of serene, peaceful and idyllic surroundings at a distance of about 55kms from Bangalore.
Value based education is imparted to the students here on the lines of the teachings of Bhagawan Baba to bring about a transformation in the hearts of students so that they will become noble citizens, able leaders and torch bearers of our glorious heritage. Fusion of modern knowledge and out look with the lofty and moral traditions of Bharath in an atmosphere of Devotion, Duty, Discipline and Dedication ensures the all-rounded development of the students who imbibe in them spiritual attitude towards life with academic excellence.
This fully residential English medium school is run by Sri Sathya Sai Loka Seva Trust,which was founded by Rev. Madiyala Narayana Bhat who inspired many young ment by precept and practice to dedicate themselves for the service of mankind. These informal dedicated missionaries reside in the campus with the students and work sincerely for the welfare of the students in all aspects with the motto “Athmano Mokshaartham Jagath Hitaya Cha.”
Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Kendra is imparting education with absolute no fees of any kind. There is no discrimination of caste, creed, colour, language etc. It is committed to provided quality education as stressed by the Central Board of Secondary Education. Students are involved in service activities like village service, monthly medical camps, village integration programme and serving the poor and the needy in different ways. All these activities focus the values of Indian culture. “Matru Devo Bhava, Pitru Devo Bhava, Acharya Devo Bhava and Athithi Devo Bhava.” They also learn the dignity of labour and become self reliant.
